Tonight was our first meal out from Feb and we had been a bit worried but everything was well organised. Staff outside door making sure social distancing was adhered to, hand sanitiser inside door, staff all wearing masks, all tables well spaced out with screens between the few tables in the middle of the floor. Food was delicious as usual, very friendly, helpful staff. We would highly recommend the Anchor.
Bank holiday weekend, but got a nice table here for two. Right from the start the service was excellent with attentive staff and drinks served quickly. Our food order was taken and came promptly and was exceptional. Hot, tasty and plentiful. Our waitress (who was so bright and bubbly) then talked us into two delicious desserts and overall our dining experience was superb. Highly recommended and only got five stars as I can’t give it six !!
Nice room, the pub is so nice and great food. The service is superb so ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from us!
We had a lovely stay at the Anchorage Inn. It was a great location, nice and clean room, and friendly staff. We enjoyed some pints at the bar in the hotel and down the street. Make sure to walk the harbor in the morning!
A real local run by a great family... No faults whatsoever and has taken up the slack when an other local Hotel folded without warning!!
We had a fantastic stay here. Everything was just perfect. Dionne on reception was extremely welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be staying again when next in the area and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
My partner and I both love the restaurant. The food is fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful!! It’s our local go to. The staff are lovely and will do whatever they can to help.
Can only comment on the restaurant after popping in for some dinner. The burger was nice but wish I had gone for the katsu curry, the little taste I had of it was delicious. Service was very impressive - quick and efficient. The one tiny fault I have was that the burger comes on its own - you’ll have to order a side of chips separately.
